Archiving Digital Version

IJTACI is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and usability of its published scholarly content.

To safeguard the permanent availability of all published articles, the journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a free preservation service provided by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) for journals using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

The PKP Preservation Network provides decentralized and distributed preservation of journal content through a secure archival infrastructure designed to ensure continued access to scholarly publications in the event of:

  • Website failure
  • Server loss or corruption
  • Publisher discontinuation
  • Journal closure
  • Technical disasters
  • Data loss incidents

All eligible published content is deposited into the PKP Preservation Network and preserved for long-term access.

Preservation Scope

The archived content includes:

  • Full-text articles
  • Article metadata
  • Supplementary files
  • Issue information
  • Publication records
  • Associated scholarly content deposited through the journal platform

Permanent Accessibility

In the event that publication of the journal ceases or the journal website becomes unavailable, preserved content stored within the preservation network will remain accessible through the designated preservation services, subject to their access policies.

Additional Preservation Measures

The journal maintains regular server backups and employs standard security measures to protect digital content and publication records.

Where appropriate, article metadata and persistent identifiers (DOIs) are maintained through Crossref to support long-term discoverability and citation continuity.

Open Access Preservation

As an open-access journal, IJTACI supports the permanent availability of scholarly research and seeks to ensure that published content remains accessible to the global research community without interruption.

Verification of Preservation Status

The journal periodically monitors and verifies participation in the PKP Preservation Network to ensure that preservation deposits remain active and compliant with current preservation standards.

Policy Review

This Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy may be updated periodically to reflect developments in digital preservation technologies, industry best practices, and indexing requirements.
