Research Misconduct Policy
IJTACI is committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity and will not tolerate research misconduct.
Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Fabrication or falsification of research data.
- Plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
- Duplicate or redundant publication.
- Citation manipulation.
- Image manipulation or inappropriate digital alteration.
- False authorship or undisclosed contributors.
- Undisclosed conflicts of interest.
- Ethical violations involving human or animal research.
When misconduct is suspected, the editorial office will conduct a fair and confidential investigation in accordance with COPE guidelines. Authors may be requested to provide original data, ethical approvals, or additional supporting documentation.
Depending on the outcome of the investigation, IJTACI may:
- Reject the manuscript;
- Publish a correction;
- Publish an Expression of Concern;
- Retract the article;
- Notify the authors' institution or funding agency when appropriate; or
- Restrict future submissions from authors involved in confirmed misconduct.
